What’s Actually Worth Marking on Your Calendar This Season
Vegas has an event on the calendar almost every week, which makes it easy to tune the whole category out. A few genuinely stand out this season.
Fashion Forward Week LV (July 9–13) brought together NBA culture, high fashion, and luxury in a way that’s become one of the more interesting additions to the city’s style calendar — worth watching for next year’s dates if you missed it.
MAGIC Las Vegas (August 10–12) is technically a trade show for fashion industry professionals, but the sheer scale of it — tens of thousands of buyers, retailers, and designers from more than 80 countries converging on the Las Vegas Convention Center — makes it a genuine barometer for what’s about to show up in stores everywhere else.
Viva St. Jude (September 25–26), presented by Michael Godard Fine Arts Associates, returns to Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa with this year’s “All That Glitters” theme — a weekend combining a golf scramble, a poker tournament, and a black-tie gala, all benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It’s one of the more elegant charity weekends on the local calendar, and one of the more worthwhile ones to plan around.
If you only pick one, Viva St. Jude is the one that combines the best night out with the best reason to show up.
